The National Association of Governors' Committees on People with Disabilities (NAGC) has formed an alliance with the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) in the U. S. Department of Labor to develop and implement model policies, initiatives and strategies that increase recruiting, hiring, advancing, and retaining workers with disabilities. 

The alliance was signed by Assistant Secretary Neil Romano and NAGC Representative Mary Margaret Cash (VA) December 29, 2008.
