Maggie Roffee's Information and Referral Summary
Maggie Roffee provides information on national organizations and information that is helpful to states and territories in expanding employment for people with disabilities.  She provides the information bi-monthly and we appreciate her continuing to update it even though she has retired.  Maggie, thank you.

Monthly Conference Calls
Each month NAGC holds a conference call with a national speaker on topics of interest. Some are recorded and placed here for member use.  

February Speakers are Sue Homant and Donna Mundy. They will talk about the High School/High Tech program in Florida and their offer to help other states implement this successful program.

Office of Disability Employment Policy Summit - Transforming the American Workplace - A 21st Century Vision

On June 3 and 4, 2008, the Honorable Neil Romano, Assistant Secretary of the Office of Disability Employment Policy at the U.S. Department of Labor, convened more than 250 leaders representing businesses, non-profits, advocacy groups, academia, and Federal, state, and local agencies at Transforming the American Workplace: A 21st Century Vision, a Summit on disability employment policy.

Held at the Kellogg Conference Center at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., the Summit brought attendees together to hear from more than 30 speakers and presenters about current trends transforming the American workplace, and to engage in a unique dialogue on how these trends can be leveraged to open doors of opportunity for individuals with disabilities.More information and handouts can be found on their Web site at http://www.odepsummit.org/.


ATIA Leadership Forum on Accessibility
