Maggie Roffee's Information and Referral Summary
Maggie Roffee provides information on national organizations and information that is helpful to states and territories in expanding employment for people with disabilities.  She provides the information bi-monthly and we appreciate her continuing to update it even though she has retired.  Maggie, thank you.

Monthly Conference Calls
Each month NAGC holds a conference call with a national speaker on topics of interest. Some are recorded and placed here for member use.  

The August 12 conference call speakers were Nanette Relave and Marie Heidkamp with the National Technical Assistance and Research Center to Promote Leadership for Increasing Employment and Economic Independence of Adults with Disabilities (NTAR Leadership Center). They will be talking about the State Leaders Innovation Institute (SLII)  and the State Peer Leaders Network (SPLN).

Southwest Conference on Disability

The 2010 Southwest Conference on Disability will have two tracks with one being a special two day training by the Access Board on October 7 and 8, 2010.  The conference will be at the Albuquerque Convention Center.  To see the flyer, click here. The agenda is available here.  The registration form for the Access Board training is here.
