Senior Health Insurance Counseling
Overview
Senior Health Insurance Counseling for Kansas(SHICK) is a free program offering older Kansans the opportunity to talk with trained community volunteers and get answers to questions about Medicare and other insurance issues. 

The SHICK program is part of the Area Agency on Aging, which has eleven regions. The regions are listed below along with the organization and city for contact to talk with a SHICK volunteer.

Regions
Region One: Wyandotte/Leavenworth County Area Agency on Aging, Kansas City, Kan., (913) 573-8531 or (888) 661-1444. Counties include Leavenworth and Wyandotte.

Region Two: Sedgwick County Extension Services, Wichita, (316) 722-7721; Harvey County Extension, Newton, (316) 284-6930; Butler County Extension, El Dorado, (316) 321-9660 or (800) 894-1131. Counties include Butler, Harvey, and Sedgwick.

Region Three: Northwest Kansas AAA, Hays, (785) 628-8204 or (800) 432-7422 . Counties include Cheyenne, Decatur, Ellis, Gove, Graham, Logan, Norton, Osborne, Phillips, Rawlins, Rooks, Russell, Sheridan, Sherman, Smith, Thomas, Trego, and Wallace.
