County Emergency Manager Listing
Overview
It is important for you to know who your county emergency manager is. These people can be valuable resources as you do your personal emergency preparedness plan. You can ask them where the shelters would be located in the event you would have to evacuate and who you would contact if you decide to shelter-in-place.

If you are comfortable with talking about your disability or limitation you may choose to voluntarily give that information to your local emergency manager. By informing the local emergency manager of your needs, they will be better able to assist you in an emergency.

You can also contact your local fire department and law enforcement with this information. When emergency personnel have this information, it increases your chances of survival in the event of a disaster or emergency.

To accommodate people with disabilities, auxiliary aides and services will be provided on request, and reasonable modifications to policies and programs will be made on request as a reasonable accommodation.
